FOUNDER AND MANAGERAfter combining her passions for event planning, fashion, and beauty under one roof at DEPT.two, Chrissy quickly realized LAGOM by DEPT.two was her next calling. In an effort to create more with less, she set out to do things differently by creating a welcoming space that invites you to discover, celebrate, relax, and stay awhile.
When Chrissy isn’t inspiring you to embrace the lagom way, you can find her indulging in the simple pleasures of life, spending time with friends and family, and soaking up the beauty of the North Shore.
Rodney Scandin
CO-FOUNDER & CRAFTSMANWith a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, Rodney is the driving force behind bringing LAGOM by DEPT.two to life. His dedication to elevating every aspect of our space ensures that each corner evokes warmth, comfort, and functionality that you can see and feel from the moment you walk inside.
Outside of rolling up his sleeves to tackle the next project, Rodney loves lending a hand to help others renovate their space, spending quality time with his family, and enjoying everything the beautiful North Shore has to offer.
Alexis
As our social & visual presence, Alexis has the skills to bring all of LAGOM to life. (plus shes’s cute as can be.) She started with Chrissy at the salon in 2022 curious about becoming a cosmetologist… and now almost three years later she is in beauty school full-time in Superior and spends her Fridays & Saturdays in the boutique.
When Alexis isn’t hustling at school and work, she enjoys time with her family and friends, listening to music, going to concerts, and going to the gym with her boyfriend Bas.

Chelsie is the owner and licensed massage therapist of Heavens Earth Massage, which offers a diverse array of massage techniques tailored to your unique needs. From relaxing to deep tissue, prenatal, and sports massage, she’s dedicated to helping you find relief and experience more relaxation along the way.
When she’s not helping clients find more balance, she enjoys spending time caring for her seven amazing children, expanding on something else here about Chelsie, and deepening her knowledge about the mind-body connection.
